This policy explains what personal information is collected on cedstamantattoo.ca, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights. It complies with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
Person in charge of the protection of personal information

What is collected
- Appointment request: name, email, phone (optional), project description, placement, size, availability, reference photos and selected flash.
- Shop order: name, email, phone (optional), shipping address, ordered items and, for a gift card, the name and email of the person receiving it.
- Payment: the card number is entered directly with Stripe, our payment processor. It never goes through this website and is never stored here. The website only receives the payment confirmation, the card type and its last four digits.
- Visit statistics: pages viewed, device type and the page you came from. No cookie is used for this, and the technical fingerprint used to count visits changes every day: nobody is tracked from one day to the next.
Why
- To answer your request, prepare your project and confirm your appointment.
- To process and deliver your order, and to issue and manage gift cards.
- To send you the emails related to your request or order (confirmation, receipt, shipping notice, gift card balance). No newsletter or advertising is ever sent without your consent.
- To understand, anonymously, which pages of the website are visited.
Your information is never sold or rented.
Who it is shared with
Only the service providers needed to run the website have access to it, and only for these purposes:
- Supabase: database and reference photo hosting.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Resend: email delivery.
- Canada Post: delivery of mailed orders (name and address only).
Some of these providers store data outside Quebec, notably in the United States. They are chosen for their security measures, and your information receives adequate protection there.
How long
- Appointment requests and reference photos: as long as needed to follow up on the project, then at most two years after your last appointment.
- Orders: six years, as required for accounting and tax records.
- Gift cards: as long as the card has a balance, since they never expire.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Your cart and liked flash are kept in your own browser, on your device, and are not sent to the studio until you submit them. At checkout, Stripe uses its own cookies to secure the transaction and prevent fraud.
Security
Exchanges with the website are encrypted. Reference photos are kept in a private space, accessible only to the studio. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a serious risk, the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information are notified.
Your rights
You may at any time ask to access your information, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent, by writing to ced.stamant@gmail.com. You will receive an answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
