Appointments, deposit and cancellation

Last updated: October 2, 2026

So that every project gets the time it deserves, and to be fair to everyone, here is how appointments work.

Request and confirmation

  • The appointment form is used to present your project. It does not guarantee a booking.
  • Every request is read personally. You will get an answer within a few business days, with a price estimate and availability.
  • The appointment is confirmed once the deposit is received.

The deposit

  • A $50 deposit is required to reserve your time slot.
  • It is deducted from the final price of your tattoo.
  • It is non-refundable: it covers the drawing time and the slot reserved for you.
  • For a flash, the deposit also reserves the design: it is no longer offered to anyone else.

Rescheduling or cancelling

  • You may reschedule your appointment once without losing your deposit, by letting me know at least 48 hours in advance.
  • A cancellation, a reschedule requested less than 48 hours in advance, or a no-show means the deposit is lost. A new deposit is then required to book another date.
  • If I have to cancel or reschedule your appointment myself, your deposit is moved to the new date or refunded, as you prefer.

Lateness

Let me know as soon as possible if you are running late. Beyond 15 minutes, the session may be shortened or rescheduled, depending on the day’s schedule; being more than 30 minutes late without notice is treated as a no-show.

On the day of your appointment

  • Valid photo ID is required.
  • Come rested, after eating, and without having consumed alcohol or drugs. A tattoo may be refused to someone whose condition does not allow it, and the deposit is then lost.
  • Before the session, mention any medical condition, pregnancy, allergy or medication that could affect the tattoo or the healing.

Price and payment

  • The estimate is given before confirmation, never after. The final price depends on the actual time and may change if the project changes along the way, always with your agreement.
  • The balance is paid at the studio at the end of the session. Cedstamantattoo gift cards are accepted.

The design

The design is an original creation made for you. It remains the artist’s work and is not handed over to be tattooed elsewhere.
